The conference will look at the SET Plan and the challenges in accelerating research and innovation in Europe. It is aimed at those willing to contribute to the achievement of the EU energy policy goals: high level policy-makers, representatives of Member States and of the European Commission, members of parliaments, the media, directors of research organisations and directors of utility companies.

In the course of three thematic sessions, speakers will present research perspectives, industry expectations and the implementation of the SET Plan.

The event is organised by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the French Ministry of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Town and Country Planning (Regional Development) on behalf of the French Presidency of the European Union, in collaboration with the European Commission.
