In 2008, the conference's special focus will be on Interspecific interactions. Surrounding the conference's special focus will be a number of thematic workshops ("Science Market") and general sessions.

Plenary Lectures

Plenary Lectures in relation to the special focus will be given by Louis Lefebvre (Montréal, Canada), Redouan Bshary (Neuchâtel, Switzerland) and Robert Poulin (Otago, New-Zeland).

Science market: workshops and symposia

A distinctive feature of the ECBB, the Science Market is for any topic that fits within the study or animal behaviour and may have various formats (round table discussion, film presentation, symposium, poster-discussions, discussion of grant application, workshops). We have reserved a number of rooms of various sizes for parallel sessions lasting for 2 to 3 hours. We ask for suggestions on the Science Market to be made ASAP to bruno.faivre@u-bourgogne.fr and gabriele.sorci@u-bourgogne.fr (subject ECBB Science Market). The deadline for submitting a proposal for the Science Market is 30 January. The selected organizers will then be asked to coordinate their session. Abstracts talks should be submitted for inclusion in the abstract book.
